About Jordan

Jordan was born loving horses and began riding at age 6. She grew up through the United States Pony Club system, which instilled a thorough understanding of horse management principles. After spectating at the Kentucky Rolex CCI**** event in 2005, Jordan's love for eventing was solidified and the goal of one day riding at Rolex formed. She completed her first USEA recognized horse trial the following spring and hasn't looked back since. Some of her achievements include competing through the Intermediate level nationally and CCI***-S level internationally on self-produced horses, competing at the North American Junior Championships as a member of the Area II team, and coaching riders through the Training level. Her additional experience in exercising race horses, starting young horses, and working with difficult horses has given her a diverse skill set when training horses and riders.
Family
Eventing has been a family affair for Jordan. Her husband, Peder, jumped right into the horse life and can be found regularly caring for the horses, working around the farm, and offering his training input. Having ridden has a teenager, her mom Mel Litter was more than excited when Jordan asked for riding lessons at a young age. From that point on Mel has been the backbone of Jordan Litter Eventing, playing every role from supporter and owner to groom and cheerleader. Jordan's father Robert Litter has also been a big supporter of her dream, and can often be found grazing the horses in between ride times and following them around the cross country course to catch as many jumps as possible. Finally, Jordan's brother Rowan has always been one of her biggest supporters, even when his own riding ambitions went away when he became a teenager.
